Our Bishop

Bishop Monnot’s ministry is grounded in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus and the conviction that God calls every baptized person into ministry in the church and in the world. She has discerned the following priorities for the ministry of the diocese:

Strengthening congregations
Supporting clergy and lay leadership
Deepening our connection to God

The ministries of the diocesan staff support these priorities and bring them into the work they do across the diocese. The staff shares with the bishop in the ministry of episcope, or oversight, that is the work of every bishop.
